Comfortable to Hold. Provides Much Better Ball Control

This Nightblade NOVA007 Raw Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle feels great in my hand. It has a nice rounded handle design that's more comfortable for me to hold compared to my old paddle and the handle is 5.5" long (about 1" longer than my old paddle) so it makes two handed returns much easier and allows me to get more power behind my returns.

The paddle weighs 7.9oz so it's about 1/2 ounce lighter than my old paddle even though it's 16mm thick compared to 14mm for my old paddle. The head measures 7.4" wide x 11" tall so it's ever so slightly narrower than may old paddle but it's 0.75" taller so it has a bigger sweet spot. The biggest improvement over my old paddle is the Endura Friction surface. It's much more grippy and allows for incredible spin control so I can make the ball drop faster with greater control and much better accuracy.

This paddle comes with a nice neoprene cover to protect the face as well as two additional rolls of grip tape (one white one black), a sweatband for your wrist and some Nightblade stickers. There's also a surprise pickleball paddle keychain inside the neoprene cover.

While this paddle is more than double the price of my old paddle, my gameplay and ball control have improved quite a bit while using it, so I'm very happy with it. This pickleball paddle is well worth the price if you're playing in a competitive league. Highly recommended.

My Skill Doesn't Justify This Paddle, But I Love It Anyway

I recently discovered pickleball and, true to form, I immediately decided I needed equipment that suggests I'm far better at the sport than I actually am. My hits are inconsistent, my serves are a coin toss, but my paddle is magnificent.

It feels like a serious piece of equipment. It's light but has a solid, premium feel that the cheap starter paddles just can't match. The raw carbon fibre face has a distinct gritty texture, and the long handle is perfect: it gives me plenty of room for the two-handed backhand I'm still trying to figure out. I feel like I have much more precision. Even my clumsy attempts at putting spin on the ball seem to work better with this surface. It hasn't magically fixed my game, but it absolutely inspires more confidence with every shot and makes me want to practice enough to deserve this paddle.

For any intermediate or advanced player, this paddle is probably what you've always wanted/needed. It delivers the control and spin needed for competitive play. For a beginner like me, it's definitely overkill, but I have zero regrets. If you appreciate quality gear and want a paddle you can grow into (or just one that feels great while you learn), it's a great choice. If you're just looking to casually hit the ball around a few times a year, your money is probably better spent on a more basic model. For the price, you get exactly what's advertised: a high-performance paddle that feels and plays like a professional tool. (unless your skill level is like mine. But man, I LOOK like a pro while I'm waiting my turn at the court)

Its lightweight design and comfortable 4 1/4“ grip make it easy to handle, whether I am just starting out or already a regular on the court. Reliable, versatile, and fun to play with, it’s a solid choice for all skill levels.

Excellent paddle

I have been a tennis player most of my life but i do like pickleball now mainly because i am known for my spin ability in sports. Whether it is ping pong, baseball or tennis i can spin balls very well. It;s a lot of fun in pickleball to do this and i have used various quality paddles since i stated playing about two years ago. With this paddle i can spin it more than all other paddles i previously played with. The grittiness of the paddle and the weight seems to suit my style.

I would like to know the velocity of my harder shots and spin RPM i am getting with this paddle compared to other paddles i use but i can visually see the improvement including shot placement.

A GREAT paddle!

I've been a fan of Warping Point pickleball paddles for quite some time and this is without a doubt their top of the line paddle.? It has a foam core and a tri level T700 carbon fiber/polyester/Teflon outer skin.? The handle is extended about an inch longer than any of my other paddles which makes it a lot easier to get both hands on the paddle if you're hitting a backhand shot.? It is crazy responsive and the lightest paddle I've owned (just under 8 oz.).? 16mm thickness.? And edge to edge playing surface.? This is a serious paddle for serious players.? Warping Point also does a very good job in adding swag to their paddles.? This one came with stickers, a key ring, a paddle cover, wrist sweat band, and two rolls of extra grip tape.? It's a quality paddle from a solid company.? The only thing I am going to change is to add a padded handle grip.? Other than that, it's perfect!

Edgeless 16 mm design - High amount of grit - Impressive graphical design

Warping Point is known for its leading edge paddle designs. Their Nightblade paddle combines honeycomb core, foam, and a long handle to produce a paddle for those driven exclusively by testosterone. This is an all out war implement tuned for fast hands battles. Included with the paddle is the book “101 ways to say sorry but not sorry” written by Humano de la Bolsa.

You will first notice the small paddle surface. Yes, it is built for speed but off centered hits can be... literally off the paddle. The longer handle is for two-handed backhands. Or in my case more leverage for power shots. The paddle has decent grit and will grip the ball, as you want. Foam is used throughout and you can tell this from playing with the paddle. My paddle, the 16 mm version, weighs 8.1 oz. The paddle plays like sweet spot, and reach are not its strong suit. Rather, speed and spin are its strong features.

Warping Point's graphical design for this paddle is one of a kind. The highlight is a black and white image having overtones of red. I would be lying if I told you what the image means. I don‘t think anyone can. Maybe the image is to induce feelings about the paddle. The edge graphics are astounding but being edgeless, I wonder how long they will last.

The paddle comes with a variety of Warping Point brand items such as stickers. I suppose this appeals to some players. The packaging is decent but is diminished by the label “Nightblade.” It is printed in a font I cannot read. I suppose the letters are to convey the aggressive nature of the product therein. I think a younger crowd will appreciate the accessories.

The Nightblade paddle delivers on the promise of a superior paddle. Top rating.

Unparalleled precision

You‘re gonna be impressed with this paddle, hands down. Warping Point dinked it out of the court (haha) with this one!
The paddle feels fantastic in your hand. The weight is expertly balanced without weighing you down. This means you can put a lot of power into your plays without wearing yourself out too quickly. The long handle is something I don’t have experience with but hope to learn more about hitting double handed. The extra length definitely makes my wrist feel more stable. And the design is very cool!
You have absolute control on the court with the nightblade. It is literally built to provide the most precision possible in your gameplay. You can feel it in the pop how well it was designed. And the SPIN! It is absolutely wild how much spin this paddle pulls. All of my teammates had to test it out after seeing what I did with it during our game.
This is my first Warping Point paddle, and I am very impressed with it. As icing on the cake, they included a carrying sleeve, extra tape, a wristband and a keychain. And they offer a 6 month warranty. While it is a bit pricey, you absolutely get what you pay for.

Nice presentation and value

Rating based on price to performance.

Grip. Comfortable 4.25 inch. Longer grip with throat opening up so you can easily put a second hand on for those 2h backhanders out there. Nice slightly rectangular shape which allows for easy rotation of the paddle if you move from Eastern to Western, etc.

Face. Gritty, T700 raw carbon. Has a teflon coating. 16mm design. Filled polymer honeycomb core. Much quieter than most paddles, but also has very nice control. A bit less pop, but still was able to drive the ball with confidence.

Weight. 7.7 ounces.

My testing of swapping from my 300 dollar paddle to this paddle yielded great results in that I lost very little in my play quality while using this paddle. Was able to generate ample spin, had nice control at the kitchen, was able to drive the ball with almost the same velocity. I see this paddle being used from beginners to advanced players.

The one really nice kicker is the presentation of this product. Comes in a really nice box. Also comes with a cover to protect the paddle. Keychain and stickers. Also toss in an extra grip that can be used for overgripping if you want and tape to secure it.

Best Warping Point paddle to date

This paddle not only performs exceptionally well, but it also looks fantastic. The aesthetic design along the edge gives it a sleek, modern appearance that stands out on the court. It comes well-equipped with thoughtful extrasincluding a durable edge protector to prevent chips and dings, a pair of comfortable sweatbands for your wrists, and a high-quality paddle cover for safe storage and transport. They even included a fun assortment of graphic stickers, which was a nice personal touch.

From a performance standpoint, this paddle has significantly elevated my game. As a drop server, spin control is essential to my serving strategy, and this paddle delivers in a big way. The amount of spin Im able to generate is remarkableIve never landed so many aces in a single match. The surface texture really bites the ball, giving me full command over placement and rotation.

Equally impressive is the balance between control and power. Whether I'm driving the ball down the line or executing a soft dink at the net, this paddle responds with precision and consistency. It feels solid yet maneuverable, and it has enhanced both my defensive and offensive play. Overall, this paddle is an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced players who are looking for a stylish, high-performing piece of gear that truly makes a difference on the court.

Great Paddle!

The Nightblade paddle is a game-changer! The build quality is outstanding, and the foam-filled polymer honeycomb core gives it a super solid, controlled feel on every shot. The Endura friction surface really delivers on spin, and I‘ve noticed a big improvement in my placement and control.

The longer handle is perfect for my two-handed backhand, and it still feels lightweight and well-balanced. You can tell this paddle was made with serious players in mind. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their game!

Feels nice in the hand

First off, it comes packaged very nicely. If you’re thinking of giving this as a gift I would say yes. It‘s nice enough.I haven’t played with this paddle yet, but my first impression is that it feels very solid and well made. The carbon fiber surface has a nice texture to it - you can tell it‘s built for good grip on the ball. It‘s lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy.

The handle is slightly longer than others I’ve tried, which I like since it should be more comfortable for a two-handed backhand. The foam-filled core sounds promising too - I‘m curious to see how that affects the vibration and feel during play.

It comes well-packaged and looks sharp. Excited to get it on the court and see how it performs.

High Quality Pickleball Paddle Set

This pickleball paddle is absolutely impressive. It's very evenly balanced, the handle is ergonomically comfortable throughout game play duration, and the paddle weight is ideal no matter what style of pickleball player you prefer to be on the court. Every hit feels so solid from impact to attack. It's very easy to give the ball various spins with this paddle. It feels lightweight & very durable. I had the most defensive saves in one match the first time I used this paddle. It comes with its own paddle cover, along with a wide array of accessories in this kit. After just a week of using & testing out this paddle, I had noticed that my defensive game play improved by over 35-45%. My offensive game play has also seen a significant improvement after using this paddle set.

Great paddle for experienced players

So let's get this out of the way upfront: I am not a 4.0 - 4.5 player, which is the intended user base, and am closer to a 2.x player. That being said, I enjoy playing with different paddles to see how and if they affect my play. With this paddle I decided focus on spin because this is something I typically try to do and two handed play because this paddle is made to allow for it and I have not really experimented with it before. My experience with the spin was positive after I adjusted to the paddle and I felt that I had really good control while using it. My two handed play needs work as expected, but the additional length of the handle did let me try it out and felt appropriate for this type of play.

Overall, I can't say I would recommend this paddle for a inexperienced player, such as myself, not because it isn't a good paddle but I double you will ever really get what you pay for out of it. If you are an experienced player however, this feels like a really well made paddle that I enjoyed using, but you are probably not going to take my word for it anyway!

Good paddle for power and spin game for strong players

I used the paddle for the first time today. Overall for fast and spin game: it has worked very well.

It comes with a paddle, nice cover, wristband and replacement grip, all packed in a good looking box.

Some notes on what I have found:
1) It has good power compared to the paddles I have played with before. At this stage I hit several balls long, still adjusting, but it has awesome pop and speed
2) Light weight at first when I picked up the paddle, I was not certain if this was the one, till I played first game- excellent feel, no jarring at all, great feel

3) Paddle has good texture on surface, really helped with the spin. First game I did not try the spin as much, but few practice serves I can already see it will be formidable in my game

4) The pace of the paddle is much more than I am used to, it will take a minute to get the control going

5) it is a pricy paddle at normal price, I got a deal during Black Friday, so I got and and so far it has not disappointed.

Overall, this paddle plays as well as any high end paddle I have used, if you can get past brand names, I feel this will be a good paddle for advanced players, for fast pace and spin game. I will comment on control after I have played more games.

SPOO Mom

I much prefer the 16mm Night Blade to the 14mm Night Blade I was playing with. I bought the 14mm about a year ago when the 16mm was not offered. It has more pop to it and is much more forgiving of my mishits that are close to the edge of the paddle. The weight is perfect for me. My only complaint is the grip gets slick while playing in 100 degree heat. I’m a solid 3.5 player. Now, if it could help me work on my foot work too; that would be amazing 😁
