A Pre-Cert Edition is an early-access version released through Warping Point Horizon Lab before the official certification process is complete. It allows players to experience our latest materials, structures, and performance concepts at an earlier stage.
Pre-Cert Edition paddles are not officially certified at the time of purchase and do not carry an official certification mark.
No. This paddle is currently offered as a WP Early Access / Pre-Cert Edition and is not officially certified at the time of purchase.
The certification process is in progress, but approval and timing cannot be guaranteed until the review has been completed.
This paddle may be used for recreational play, practice, training, and events that do not require an officially certified paddle.
It may not be eligible for sanctioned tournaments that require equipment certification. Please check the equipment rules with the tournament organizer before competing.
Once certification is approved and the certified version becomes available, eligible Horizon Lab customers will receive an email with upgrade instructions.
Your upgrade eligibility will depend on whether your purchase was made within the first 100 Early Bird spots or after those spots were filled.
The first 100 customers can purchase the Pre-Cert Edition at the Early Bird price of $119.99.
Once the certified version is approved and available, each qualifying customer will be eligible to receive one certified-version upgrade at no additional product cost for each eligible Lab paddle purchased.
Upgrade instructions will be sent to the email address used for the original order. Proof of purchase and order verification may be required.
Customers who purchase a Horizon Lab paddle after the first 100 Early Bird spots have been filled can still participate in the certified-version upgrade program.
Once the certified version becomes available, eligible customers may purchase one certified-version upgrade for $29.99 per qualifying Lab paddle.
The certified version is intended to retain the core performance direction and playing characteristics of the Horizon Lab version.
However, minor adjustments to specifications, construction, materials, graphics, or production details may be required as part of certification, testing, or final manufacturing. Any confirmed differences will be clearly communicated before the upgrade becomes available.
No. Under the current upgrade policy, you may keep your original Horizon Lab Pre-Cert Edition paddle.
The certified-version upgrade is provided as an additional paddle for eligible customers, subject to order verification and the applicable upgrade terms.
The certified version will become available only after the certification review has been successfully completed and production is ready.
Because the process involves third-party review and testing, an exact approval date cannot be guaranteed. We will publish updates on the Horizon Lab page and notify eligible customers by email when the certified version and upgrade process are ready.
