Oscar Serra is an Italian professional pickleball player and former NCAA Division I tennis athlete from Cagliari, Italy. He moved to the United States in 2019 on a tennis scholarship to compete for Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, graduating in 2023. After beginning his pickleball journey in November 2023, Oscar quickly progressed to the professional level and now competes in high-level tournaments while training and coaching pickleball daily. Alongside his athletic career, he is pursuing a PhD in Bioinformatics at Temple University, where he is entering his fourth year. Balancing academic research with professional competition, Oscar brings discipline, athleticism, and a strong racquet-sports foundation to the court.
