I came from a Grasp and Ascent 16mm Red which are edgeless and elongated paddles to me. I got this widebody because my friend tells me I am good at defense and recommends me to get a widebody paddle. It comes with paddle cover and overgrip tape. I was missing grip tape from my package which somehow got abused so the customer service sent me overgrip tape. So, their customer service is top notch. I liked how it has a bigger sweet spot in case the balls may hit off center. The handle size makes it easier to do hands battle when you are the kitchen. This paddle is good for kitchen play whether you are volleying or dinking. This paddle is certainly capable for resets and dropshots since this is more like a control paddle. The weight of this paddle is balanced. The paddle quality seems good with a lot of grit. The widebody can lack reach at certain times but I will get used it since I came from elongated paddles. The grip length may not be perfect for everyone since it's a bit on the smaller side. I did wish it would be the same grip length as the hybrid one for everyone to use. If you want widebody but needed a longer grip length, I would get the hybrid paddle option. Hybrid paddles are in middle between elongated and wide body. Elongated paddles are usually good on offense, reach, and two hand back hands from my experience.
TL;DR for Widebody Review:
Pros of Widebody: Good at defense and control (hands battle, kitchen, resets, dropshots), forgiveness, and good price
Cons: Lack reach in certain situations (small issue I can deal with overtime), small grip length (not suitable for some people with large hands), and unknown reliability (first new widebody model)

Rough surface to allow for great spins and control shots. Really good action on power shots. Like it, but plays different from my other paddle which was twice the price. Sticky handle is nice for long sweaty games. It is regular handle length. It comes with a paddle cover and extra grip tape. Really nice packaging feels expensive.
A very nice and solid paddle. Very balanced and nicely weighted. The only downside of the paddle is the surface gets dirty quickly; however, warping point provides a free eraser and I'd recommend keeping it on hand. This paddle is fantastic value for the money and I highly recommend for starters or intermediate players.
I blame my parents for me getting a racket, and I was skeptical of it at the price (growing up with a piece of cheap wood slapped to a plastic handle for a fiver on any given Wednesday).
Opening it up, I started to see why it was priced as it is. Seems the sport has entered some sort of golden era like Tennis.
It comes in a thermal regulating bag for shipping, which is cool. I opened it and inside is this lightweight but oddly well-balanced racket. The thing immediately showed off why it wasn't a racket like the ones I grew up with when I touched the center and felt a contoured and highly gripping surface that is labeled as Carbon Fiber.
That's a buzz word, sure, and people often do the weave design to show it off but not here. I actually believe this it carbon fiber and not just a simple sticker of grip tape.
The grip is great-feeling, even through the plastic. Reminiscent of a mid-tier or even high-tier tennis racket, depending on your standards.
It comes with extra grip tape and a neoprene carrying case as well.
Overall I was pleasantly satisfied, the design is cool and I'm sure this is an impressionable paddle on the court.
I think if this is your thing, it is a good buy for the value. Warping Point definitely goes the extra mile to make you feel appreciated for the purchase. I also think it will hold up well, though I will need to research how to upkeep these. It's definitely different than a tennis racket, so here goes the rabbit hole.
I’m a huge fan of Warping Point paddles.
This paddle has a great sweet spot. I played with it for 3 days playing for 3-5 hours each day. It has a great feel to it. It‘s got the perfect amount of weight to it. It has great control for playing offensive and defensive. I’d recommend the paddle for someone just starting or even a 3.0/3.5 player. The paddle for the price is comparable to the same quality of a bigger name brand.
I had a friend try the paddle for a game and was able to adjust to it quickly. They said it had a great sweet spot.

I think this is a very well-made paddle. It's just not for my current playing style. The face is ultra grippy resulting in a lot of spin, if you're into that. (And I am.) The hybrid shape allows for a nice middle of the road feel ... not too long, not too short, and wide enough to get to just about any ball.
Plenty of power from this solid, heavier paddle. The stock grip is nice and tacky, but not sticky. Very playable right out of the box. The paddle feels like it could go through a war and come out the other side still ready to play, so if you want a paddle that's going to last, this might be the one for you.
I don't think I'll stick with this paddle as my every day regular. I have another that fits my play style better. It's longer, lighter, and just feels more balanced in my hand. Your mileage may vary. If you want a super solid paddle with lots of spin potential that's going to last you a long time, you should order this one. I think it's a great all-around paddle that's well-built and at a good price point. It just feels too heavy for the way I play.
A friend has the widebody version of this paddle , I tried it and liked it but the handle was a little short for my hands, I was really happy when I found out it comes in different sizes, I bought the hybrid

It has a lot of spin, I dink and reset good. Good power, I would say it's an all court paddle.
It has heat sealed edges which I understand it's better.

I’ll get straight to the point. This paddle looks and feels premium the moment you see it. I played with my sister this morning and the difference compared to a regular paddle is huge especially when it comes to serving, at least for me. It doesn‘t feel heavy at all, which I really liked. The weight feels just right and it’s comfortable in hand. Honestly, I‘m impressed so far and I’m looking forward to using it more.
This paddle is GREAT quality and worth the cost. My husband tried it in comparison to his paddle that was double the price of this one and he said this paddle holds up great against the more expensive paddle.
It‘s a good weight (not too light but not heavy), it has a nice spin to it and the grip is super comfortable. Even after playing for an hour, my grip did not slip from my sweat. I felt like I had great control with this paddle!
It’s also nice that it comes with a cover for the paddle and extra wrap for the grip.
Would definitely recommend!
Great paddle. Face width is about same as my hybrid 11six24 vapor power shape. Good power while still have good control. plush feel for drives, volleys feel stable, dinking I feel pretty connected with the ball. Overall a great paddle.
I'm not an expert at pickleball, but I used this and found it to be very responsive. I also had a friend of mine who is an expert at pickleball, and he said he also really liked how it felt and the control it gave him.
I just spent the weekend playing with this paddle, and of the four paddles I now own, this one clicked with me like no other. I'm just an amatuer who plays one weekend per month, but i do play with several ranked players who take the sport very seriously. I will never play at their level, but I try.
I also have Warping Point's Ascent 13mm paddle, and I do like it, it gives you a lot of control, but it has always had kind of a soft "pop." It just requires a little more effort for power shots. That's not the case with this paddle, at all. You still have that high-friction surface that makes putting spin on any shot insanely easy, but this paddle is stiffer, and has excellent pop. I can honestly say I was more competitive this weekend than I ever have been, and I believe that was in large part due to having a better paddle that works for me.
I swapped paddles with one of the "pros," and though I loved the feel of the far more expensive paddle, it didn't really help my game. I'm just not a strong enough player to take advantage of what that paddle can do. The only real complaint he had for my paddle was the weight. I'm not used to super-light paddles, so the difference seems minimal to me, but he could definitely feel it. What he did enjoy was the textured surface of the paddle, and the insane amounts of spin he could put on the ball. It was like unlocking a cheat code. He had a good time playing with it, but it's not really designed for his performance level. For a more intermediate player like myself, it's absolutely a step up. Another player who is around my skill level played with it and I believe he's going to order him one, so it's not just me.
The surface does build up dust/particles pretty quickly due to the sandpaper-like material. This hasn't been the case with the Ascent paddle which has the same surface, so I'm guessing it's due to how much more rigid this one is. It's just esthetic, and can be cleaned off with an eraser.
The grip tape on the handle is comfortable, and it remained so over the whole weekend.
I like to balance my reviews but I honestly have no negatives to discuss. At this price point, and for my skill level, this just seems like a perfect paddle with a scary amount of spin-inducing friction. Fun stuff.
Enjoy it playing with this paddle. It has a nice head weight balance, and a solid feel to hits. No t really sure but what is meant by this being a “hybrid” model, but I do like the overall dimensions.
Amazing paddle, right off the bag! I only recently started playing pickleball after a few years of basic tennis and intermediate level table tennis. In the three times I‘ve played so far, twice with a Selkirk Evo and the other time with this Warping Point paddle, I must say, this brand stands on its own up to the Selkirk and does just as well. There seems to be a larger sweet spot with this paddle and it just feels better overall especially given it’s slightly larger than the evo. The stroke making is great, comfortable, provides ample spin and overall balance does feel great although sometimes the shots went haywire but that may be due to the fact that I am still getting used to this game and the dimensions of the court. I‘m sure I’ll get better as I continue playing with this but I think this paddle will do well with against most $100 - $150 paddles out there! Recommended for sure!!
I am a tennis snob. I have played tennis all my life and was not ready to cross over to the dark side to pickle ball until encouraged to do so by many of my tennis friends. So I am definitely a newbie having only played a dozen or so times. My paddle was the cheapest one at our local sports store. I can definitely tell a difference in the weight and construction of this paddle. It is easy to hold, has a nice solid feel to it, and while you don’t get the same spin as a tennis racquet, I feel I can spin and direct the ball better than with the cheaper one. When I mentioned to my pickle ball aficionados that I thought the price may be excessive, they laughed and said it was relatively inexpensive for what some paddles cost. I asked a few of them to try it as their opinion as experienced players would hold more weight. I found that individual preferences matter in pickle ball paddles just as they would with tennis racquets. Some liked it, some didn‘t. But all agreed it was a great paddle for me to start with until I too become a pickle ball snob.
Wow! If you have been playing pickleball with a cheap paddle and transition to this one, then that is exactly what you will say....WOW!
Right out of the high-tech packaging you know this is a professional, next-level paddle. The hand grip has just the right amount of padding to make it very comfortable in your hand and still maintain control. As you look at the surface of the paddle you can see that it is gritty which allows you to get the control and spin on the ball.
If you are new to the game of pickleball, then this is a great paddle for you. If you have been playing pickleball for a while, then this paddle will definitely improve your game. I have been playing with cheap, starter paddles with my kids. After getting this paddle, it has definitely improved my game.
Great paddle at a fair price.
This is the third pickleball paddle I’ve owned, and it‘s a huge step up in quality compared to my first two. Those feel like starter sets now by comparison.
This one’s carbon fiber, and the face has a woven texture that feels almost grippy when you run your fingers across it. I have to imagine that helps with ball spin and control. The build is excellent- it‘s lightweight but solid in the hand, and it looks sharp enough that I’ll probably seem like a better player than I actually am just by showing up with it.
I haven’t made it to the courts yet, but after bouncing the ball off it a bunch of times, it feels like there‘s a little more spring and pop than my previous paddles. That could just be the upgrade in quality, but either way, I‘m impressed.
5 stars, no complaints.
Amazing hybrid paddle!
You can‘t beat the quality for the price. This paddle feels and plays well above its price point. When you add the included cover and overgrip, it becomes a no-brainer. The shape is a standard hybrid design, and the surface has an extra-rough grit that provides excellent spin. The handle grip length is great for one-handed shots and works for two-handed backhands as well. The color and design are simple yet stylish. Highly recommend.
I'm by no means a Pickleball Pro, but this paddle sure makes me feel like one.
It just oozes quality and is light in the hand. I really tried to "feel" the difference with the internal core but other than it being a very light easy to swing paddle I couldn't tell you the difference as a novice.
Paddle feels durable, survived intentional drops/throws on my part with nothing but a scuff. I really like the surface they put on this as well, feels grippy to the hand and seems to have quite an effect on the balls themselves while hitting.
I think if you are looking for a very nice paddle for the money, this is that. We shall see how long it will last but I'm sure it'll last longer than me!
warping point is a becoming a big player in the paddleball world and I like the feel of every one of their paddles. the grip on the paddle's face is always stellar. i love warping point paddles. period.

I'm no professional player at all. My buddy invited me to come play so as a guy it was my job to psych him out for a week before we played. He had a set of paddles and balls but the day of the game I brought this. It had a fancy case and when you hold this and one of the cheap ones in the kit, this was super light and much stronger!
I pretended I played a lot and he was impressed by the paddle but he still kicked my butt the 1st game. I won the other 2. I let hom have the paddle afterwards because he does actually lay and he really liked it.
