Tri-Response Foam Core

Built with a full EPP foam core, surrounded by a responsive TPE ring and reinforced with perimeter edge foam, Sophon is engineered to deliver power without sacrificing feel. The EPP core provides a solid and stable foundation, while the TPE ring introduces elastic rebound and extended dwell time—softening impact and enhancing control. Additional foam along the perimeter expands the sweet spot and improves forgiveness, giving you greater confidence on every shot.

Aero Fusion Surface

Built on a triple-layer T700 carbon fiber foundation, this surface is enhanced with an innovative aerospace-grade coating. It expands the sweet spot and delivers greater control, achieving up to 3x the performance of traditional carbon fiber faces. Even after extended high-intensity play, the surface maintains excellent grip and consistent, precise feedback—so every shot feels stable and controlled. Natural Grip Changes and Better Control

The octagonal handle helps you identify and adjust your grip quickly between shots. Its balanced, comfortable design supports stable wrist positioning, controlled paddle angles, and faster preparation during drives, counters, volleys, and net exchanges.

Widebody Shape for Maximum Forgiveness

The Sophon Widebody features a wider face for a larger sweet spot, improved stability, and greater forgiveness on off-center hits. Its balanced shape supports cleaner contact during fast exchanges, blocks, resets, and reaction volleys.

I love this paddle, it has a lot of control and power. Even when you don't hit it in the sweet spot it is very forgiving. Paddle is light and quick.

Great paddle, excellent price

This is a phenomenal all court option that would rival the top paddles for both stability and consistency. I can only give this 3 stars because pre-certification means more testing the market than this paddle is actively being certified. Great paddle. Could maybe shave off some swing weight, but it’s not cumbersome. I was just disappointed in the unlikelihood of in being certified. Especially when this is being priced as a premium paddle.

This paddle is something special. It’s just amazing in the soft game. It has power when needed. It’s very easy to swing and play without arm fatigue. Great feel, serves, drives, and placement. The whole paddle face feels like a sweet spot. I’d say it’s an upgrade to the Six Zero Coral series: making this a phenominal value. It is still pending certification at the time of this review.
