I have a bad elbow and this paddle has the absorbing I need to help the pain. The grip is also perfect for me. I can feel the sweet spot. I think this paddle is exactly what I needed.
Amazing paddle soft touch and enough power at a great price.
Like it very much!

After receiving the Sophon paddles, they were completely sold out within just two days. The response from players was overwhelmingly positive. After gathering feedback from those who purchased and tested the paddles, everyone was impressed and highly satisfied with their performance—especially the blue model. Players praised its excellent combination of power and a large sweet spot, while still maintaining great balance and control. In addition, the paddle is easy to maneuver, making it an excellent choice for players looking for both performance and comfort on the court.

Love this paddle!
The product seems fune. I have to play with it some more to see what I think. My prioblem is that the delivery of it took almost a month!
Awesome paddle.
Love my new Sophon paddle! It is the most versatile paddle I have ever used! Highly recommend
Love this paddle. Bought 3 already. Only work probably needed on this paddle is for the surface grit to last longer.
I have played this paddle for almost a month now. If you don’t know me, I usually prefer playing with widebody paddles.
Modifications: The modifications I put on this paddle are electrical tape around the paddle and their overgrip that comes with this paddle. I didn't put any weights on the paddle since I preferred my paddles to have a lower swing weight.
Thoughts: The Sophon elongated is one of the lighter elongated paddles I have played so far compared to my Phoenix 16mm. To me, the paddle feels like a honeycomb paddle which is unexpected of any Gen 4 paddle. This is one of the easier Gen 4 paddles to learn from if you are transitioning from honeycomb paddle to foam paddle. The reviewers say it is an all-court paddle which I agree with. The paddle has a very good balance in control and power. It has good linear power when doing drives at the baseline.
Lately, I do choke up on the paddle a little bit in order for me to do well on dinks, hands battles, and forehand dropshots. Just recently, I am learning slice dinks and backhand slice dropshots which this paddle does really well in. I also do two hand backhand dropshots which dropped pretty well in the kitchen from the baseline or transition zone. I am curious to see how long their durable grit lasts in the real world.
Overall and Feedback: I think the Sophon elongated paddle is a good paddle for anyone who has experience with elongated paddles or wants to transition from hybrid to elongated paddle. It is very balanced in terms of control and power. It may not be for people who prefer playing with a widebody since you may require to choke up the paddle to do well in control and hand speed battles.
For anyone who wants a shorter handle, Warping Point will eventually release a shorter handle version of the Sophon elongated paddle. I think Warping Point should make a hybrid and widebody version of the Sophon to match people’s preferences whether or not it has certification. I think having different shapes for an all court paddle would be a good addition to the Sophon lineup considering that there aren't that many all court paddles on the market currently. The longer handle elongated paddle is good, but it can be a turn off for people who prefer other shapes.
Gives me way better control of the balls and fits my play very well. What a good value for money and excellence buy.
so far so good, the racket is all around, controlling it is easy and surprisingly drives are fast too
I’m impressed. It is working for me. I feel I have a bit more
Control on where my shots land.
I really like the feel of the paddle a lot. I wish I would have bought a 7.5. I’m 76 years old and play usually 4-6 times a week and might shoulder get sore. Old age disease I guess.
I love, love, LOVE this paddle. Since I’m kinda in the middle between a beginner and intermediate player, I wanted a paddle to help advance my game. This little sweety has done just that! Better shots and control!
excellent paddle here, had to add some lead tape - one on each side, and one at the top for some more power, only played with it twice now, still getting acclimated ...
Great feel and control. Like nothing else I have ever used.
The paddle is light, which is good. The textured surface make my spins more effective. I'm very happy with this purchase.
overall the paddle is great. However the handle could be smaller .I have ml hands and I would have liked to be able to control the size of the handle. Also what about the women, they have smaller hands..
Loving the paddle. Resets and the soft game seem almost effortless. Plenty of power when needed though. I only wish it was USAP approved as almost all tournaments near me follow those paddle guidelines/approvals.
Still in the evaluation phase! It does offer great spin.
I like it...making some surprisingly good shots...did not cure yips but that seems to be in my head....hahaha
Plenty of power, but way more control than my Boomstik. It's my "go to" paddle now!
This paddke us pure magic!!! Fantastic!!!!
Received my Sophon 16MM a few days ago and first off, I love it when paddles come in boxes vs just paper or padded envelopes. They feel more "professional" to me. The grit was awesome, the pop great, power was not overbearing and easily controlled which is what I like. The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 was the paddle wanted to twist a lot on me at the kitchen in hand battles. I'm not sure if the thick handle had anything to do with it or not but, I was able to put a piece of lead tape on the 2 bottom corners and that helped tremendously. Other than that, I recommend this paddle to all of my buddies and any beginner to intermediate play especially because the control helps balance the power of this paddle!
Played with Sophon 16 mm today first time. I immediately noticed the pop - serves and returns landing deeper with more pace. Top spin lob serves had big bounces. The grit really enhanced my slice shots. And the power on drives and overheads was really fun. Resets were very controlled and even my push dinks were more penetrating, causing pop ups for easy put aways! Can't wait to get back on the court! Oh forgot to mention, my paddle came with a FREE cool towel and 1 overgrip and cover. No other paddle manufacturer has included these items (except for a cover once). Well done Warping Point!
