Officially USAPA Certified

The AETHER is USAPA approved for tournaments and league play, delivering consistent performance, precision, and durability. This lightweight, arm-friendly paddle ensures every shot is controlled and powerful. Play with confidence using a paddle built for competitive pickleball.

KevlarX Hybrid Face for Professional Spin & Control

Unlike mainstream carbon paddles, the Aether pickleball paddle combines Kevlar with 3K carbon fiber, resulting in a more durable surface. A textured surface boosts ball dwell time for easier topspin, backspin, slice, and sidespin. Perfect for net dinks, resets, and tournament-level drives, the AETHER delivers confidence and consistency for competitive players.

New MaxCell Honeycomb Structure

Compared to 8mm cell size paddles, the 16mm Aether Pickleball Paddle features a 10mm wide honeycomb core, making it softer and more stable. Built for control and touch—not hard-hitting, aggressive play—it makes soft game shots easier and more accurate. Enjoy higher forgiveness, a larger sweet spot, and a smoother feel.

Ergonomic Comfort Grip

Designed with a 5.6-inch handle for forehand and backhand control, the octagonal grip delivers excellent shock absorption and a secure, stable feel, helping prevent tennis elbow and arm fatigue. The non-slip surface with ventilation holes ensures a secure, comfortable hold even during long, intense matches.

Confident Kevlar Experience

We’re confident you’ll feel the unique control of KevlarX. Backed by a 1-year warranty and hassle-free support, the Aether lets you play with confidence—because once you try it, you may never want to go back.

Super lightweight and gritty

Super lightweight and gritty, feels like premium, grip is comfortable. I loved the gritty surface, it helped me generate way more spin on my third shot drops. This paddle is perfect for players looking for spin and control without sacrificing too much power. I wish the edge has more brighter color.

It has good power and control. I will review in greater detail when I have used it for 6 months.

One piece design, More stable feel.

My previous racket caused wrist pain after extended play, but switching to the Aether has significantly improved this. Its 16mm polymer honeycomb structure, with its high density, provides a soft, cushioned feel with every shot. Even with powerful returns, I didn't feel any noticeable vibration in my arms. This shock-absorbing design is very helpful for those of us who are a little older but still love the sport, helping us maintain our rhythm and speed.

Paddle for lighter play

I play pickleball a lot, and my old paddle started feeling heavy during longer games. I saw this lighter one and gave it a try, and it instantly felt easier on my arm. The paddle has a balanced design that helps me react faster without giving up any control. It gives a strong, clean pop when I strike the ball, and I can feel more power behind my shots. It also reduces vibration, which keeps my wrist and elbow from getting sore after a match. The surface adds grip to the ball, helping me control spin and placement with more precision. My accuracy has improved, and I’m enjoying the game more than ever with this upgrade.

Anti slip, moderate weight and good quality

The one piece structure of this ball paddle handle is very comfortable to hold. The handle is of moderate size, with a circumference of 4.25 inches and a length of 5.25 inches. It is very stable to hold with one hand and is suitable for someone like me who likes to serve and receive the ball flexibly. When in use, it feels like it has good control. Not only can it easily hit spin balls, but it can also enhance the rebound effect. It has a moderate weight and a balanced feel when swung.

Delivers Spin, Stability, and Style

The rough carbon fiber face makes it possible to spin the ball a lot. I can put more spin on the ball today than ever before, especially when I serve topspin and drop shots on the third shot. The paddle offers me the control I need to play smarter and faster, whether I'm at the baseline or dinking at the net. The frame that is thermoformed without seams is also great. It not only looks good, but it also makes everything much more stable and durable. Even when I strike off-center, I don't feel any vibration. It makes me feel good about taking those hard angle images without worrying about missing. The grip of the paddle is pleasant and well-padded. I used it when it was hot outside, and it still feels grippy without being sticky. It's light enough to move fast, yet it still has enough strength for those who want to be aggressive.

Great grit, light paddle, not for bangers

This paddle has fantastic grit, and when they say it’s good for 2100 rpm on the ball, it’s all of that and maybe more. This is by far the best Kevlar-hybrid I’ve played with (this is my 3rd). I’m no pro nor even a 3.5 DUPR, but this paddle (when applied properly) will send that ball deep in your opponent’s court, or dead on contact if you like backspin - side spin has been excellent for me.Where I’m not enamored is the core/sweet spot - you’re not going to get that 50+ MPH serves that other paddles claim. This paddle is fairly light, but does come with some “tape” to change the weight, balance, and swing.

Great paddle balancing between control and power

The paddle is popping up well allowing me to reset and hit the ball with large sweet spot easily. The control is good while still maintaining great balance with strong power. However it requires practice to dink. Overall i feel great with its performance.

A Great Paddle for Control

I’ve been using this for about a week now, and it fits the bill perfectly for what I was looking for. I tend to use a lighter paddle when I’m playing outdoors to speed up the play, but the gym we use for indoor plays very fast. This paddle is top heavy and forces me to slow my swing down, and my control has been much better. The surface is the right amount of grit, but we’ll have to see how that holds up. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the grip, but it comes with a spare wrap which I will try, or replace with a textured grip. Overall, this is a very worthy paddle at its price point, and I would absolutely recommend it if you’re looking for better control and precision.

Great Control Paddle and Affordable

Grip: The grip is very comfortable and the shape makes it very easy to maneuver.Controllability: This paddle has a very good amount of control. I specifically enjoyed it on drop shots and cross court dinks.Power: While this is certainly not a power paddle I found it to still have a good amount for doubles. However, for high level singles it does not have quite enough power. That could change if I add weighted tape but I have not done that so far.Maneuverability: This is extremely maneuverable and found it very nice for hands battles at the net.Shape: I prefer an elongated shape, but the hybrid shape was much nicer than expected.Price: At only $99 this a very nice paddle and definitely worth the money.Cons: The only things I could find wrong with this paddle is the slight lack of power for singles and the fact that it is only UPA approved and not currently USAPA approved (In case you don't know, this means it can only be played in PPA and UPA pickleball tournaments).Summary: Overall this is a very nice paddle. I would put this paddle in the control category and say it is probably for beginner to higher intermediate players.

I would recommend it to a friend or family

the paddle feels good, you can tell it's a quality build from the first moment, the grip feels nice. looks classy.it has some pop but it's a control paddle and that;s what it does, accurate shots! but the spin! i almost feel guilty how much spin this thing puts on the ball! Also, something improtant to me, no dead spots, I had paddle before with small sweet spot ,this you can hit anywhere on the paddle the ball with no isues.I think this is an ideal paddle for beginners and intermediate, maybe even for advanced if it fits their play style

A short and stout 16mm paddle that could be your next love.

I want to start off the review by saying that the Aether has an edge guard to it. I say this because the other Warping Point paddles are edgeless. That's not a plus or minus, I just feel that it's an important thing to note in case you have any other of Warping Point's paddles and prefer the edgelessness of the edge.Presentation of the packaging is nice. Comes in a good little box, the paddle is bubble wrapped in there and it's all in there. So let's say that it's pouring outside and the Amazon box is soaked and the WP box is soaked, the paddle and sleeve are good.I like the simple look and color they went with for the paddle. It's not that flashy looking paddles aren't neat. Their other paddles have nice graphics to them, but I like that it's simple. It looks like a businessman's paddle. Serious and refined.Grip on it is nice. Has some cushion to it. The handle is a little shorter, not too short, but I think it's built more for single handed play over that two handed system that I cannot, for the life of me, do well. I think I might have little T-rex arms and that's the problem. The butt end of the handle is nice. Had a nice softened edge to it that didn't irritate, feels very nice. The paddle face feels nice. I always like a little texture and this has it going on. I didn't feel like it was too much, but it was reliable and allowed for some nice spin when I did it. I have a motion when hitting directly in front of me with a backhand that puts spin on it whether I want to or not. It gave the same level of spin as I normally do. I'd say that it's just right. The paddle face is a little teapot, short and stout. I have and use one of WP's trainer paddles and I think that helped me with this. Not specifically because of the trainer's dimensions, but because with using it, I tend to do better with hand eye coordination of hitting a ball more consistently in the sweet spot. I like it. I play mostly indoors, so wind isn't an issue, but this felt like even with it being a cool little square of paddle, it didn't have the wind resistance and that could be because of the height being a little shorter. The feel of the ball on the paddle was good. The sweet spot felt about right for the size of the paddle face and I could tell when I hit it because it both felt and sounded just different enough to me that I knew without looking that I hit the ball right. The border on the paddle feels like it gives the head a bit more weight. It doesn't make it heavy, but feels like it's balanced towards the top that feels like why people use that weighted tape on the paddles.Who is this for? I think that it is a viable option for everyone. I think that it feels durable (obviously how you play and how often you play determines that) and that if you want a paddle that will be there for a beginner on up until they are playing at a more competitive level, this could fill that need. To me, it's feels like a good value proposition in that.

Wow!!! WARPING POINT you’ve done it again. This paddle with the little bit of head weight and the Kevlar surface is so awesome. I have used the Acent, all of the GRASPS and the Night Blade, which are all amazing paddles. This paddle has me very expectant as to the performance level that it applies to my serves and ball placement. Thank you for this opportunity once again to be able to continue helping such a great company get their name out there with great products.Playability:Texture Performance:Size of paddle faceControl:with texture and 16mm thickness I’m looking forward to the ball placement.Feel:The weight and handle size are great for me.
