This pickleball paddle is lightweight and feels good and well balanced during the game. The grip is comfortable with just enough stickiness to keep it from slipping out of your hand. It also comes with a replacement reel of grip tape so you can replace it once the original grip wears out. The paddle face is rough like a very fine sandpaper, so it helps to make good contact with the ball and gives you good control. It also includes a great paddle cover, which is one of the best I‘ve seen.
Although the price is on the high side ($165), the quality of the paddle, the included high-quality cover and extra grip tape make it worth the price. If you’re a beginner it may not be worth the price, but on the other hand, once you get this one, you won‘t need another one for a long time.
I am by no means an expert at Pickleball, but I am learning, and I am at the point where I want to upgrade my paddle to one that is more advanced than the cheap one I started with. I saw this 16mm paddle by WARPING POINT, and it seemed to have the right balance between quality and price.
The paddle arrived in a very nice box that is perfect for gifting. It comes with a carrying pouch as well as extra tape for wrapping the handle if needed.
This paddle has a very nice feel to it. It has a longer handle than the other paddle I was using, which lets me do 2 handed backhands with no problem.
I did find that using this paddle over a cheap one took a little bit of getting used to. It definitely has more power, and this is a huge positive, but I had to alter the way I hit.
The surface on the paddle is an "Endura Friction Surface" that makes it easier for me to put a spin on the ball. This has definitely added a new dimension to my playing.
The paddle is USAPA-approved.
I am very happy with this paddle. I am a little surprised at the difference using a good paddle over a cheap paddle makes. There is no comparison.
Even at my level as a beginner, this paddle is making a difference.

The paddle has a premium feel right out of the box. The multi-layer carbon fiber construction is sleek, and the unibody edgeless design looks and feels sturdy. It's definitely built to last, and I can tell this will hold up during long matches. I also really appreciate that it‘s USAPA-approved, which is a huge plus for anyone playing in tournaments.
The Endura Friction Surface is exactly what I was hoping for. The raw T700 carbon fiber with a teflon coating should provide exceptional grip and spin on the ball. I'm excited to test it out and see how much power I can get on my shots, especially my topspins and resets. Based on the design, I can already tell this paddle will give me a lot more control over ball placement.
The 4.125-inch grip feels comfortable and gives me the flexibility to move my fingers and wrist freely. I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out during a match, as a good grip is essential for both comfort and control.
Unfortunately, due to some bad weather, I haven‘t been able to get out on the court yet to test the paddle fully, but I’m really excited to give it a try once the weather clears up.
Amazing paddle for the price. I use an expensive Selkirk and this is my backup. There’s certainly a not as premium feel and touch to it but I can play almost the same for 1/5 of the price. Came in a nice box, cover, and overgrip. All free extras. Impressed

Love the paddle. I play, coach and ref so I recommend the Grasp a lot especially since the have 3 different ones depending on your playing style/preference. I made sure to buy 2 for myself, one for training/rec play and the other for tournaments.

The paddle is good for soft balls.. third shots and reset. Byet it has no power at all. So what I did I put some weights for better over head shots and some flicks. .
This paddle feels solid right from the first swing. The long handle makes two-handed backhands smooth and powerful, and the grip is comfortable without slipping. The carbon fiber surface really adds noticeable spin, which makes drop shots and topspins much easier to control. The edgeless design gives a bigger sweet spot and the paddle feels stable with less vibration on contact. It strikes a nice balance between power and precision, making play more consistent and fun.
I play a lot of pickleball, but up until now I’ve only used cheap paddles, which worked fine for me. But you don’t know what you‘re missing until you try something better. When I unpacked this new Warping Point Carbon Paddle, the first thing I noticed was how much lighter it is. Then I saw the textured surface, which makes it easier to put spin on the ball. The handle is a little longer too, so I can grip it with both hands for a more controlled backhand. I did feel like the handle could use a bit more cushion or tape, but that might just be what I’m used to with cheaper paddles. Either way, they include extra grip tape in the box, which is a nice touch. Overall, I don’t see any issues with this paddle and I‘m looking forward to winning plenty of matches with it. If anything should change I will be sure to update the review.
This one is special. The box it came it is classy, the quality of the racket is top notch. Worth the price if you are going to take care of it. It will last long. Great as a gift too.
This mid-weight paddle is specialized not just for its benefits as a thermoformed paddle, but also features a more elongated form factor and a very slightly smaller diameter for the handle than the vast majority of paddles. If these are the characteristics you seek the most, this paddle can be a great option for you. Although balanced for power and control, this paddle not only allows greater control than a beginner‘s paddle but provides also provides greater power. But beginners beware: the same characteristics that make this such a great paddle for some of the more advanced players can have consequences that will not enable you initially to be as successful as if you had used a paddle designed for new players.
Smaller Diameter Handle
Your hand may seem to fit a typical diameter of handle just fine, but a smaller diameter enables you to manipulate your fingers to a greater degree thus providing increased control over your shots. As an intermediate or advanced player with hands of any size, you owe it to yourself to find out if you prefer a smaller diameter handle before you purchase your next paddle.
The diameter of the handle is a property that currently isn’t given proper consideration by either consumers or manufacturers. The typical pickleball handle is designed for the average-sized adult male, not the averaged-sized adult. I wear ladies‘ size large/ extra-large gloves so I wouldn‘t say my hands are unusually small, but they are smaller than is typical for a man’s hand. Until I picked up this paddle I never knew that a paddle could be so comfortable. It was like coming home. Whether for control, ergonomics, or having the experience of feeling like you have met your soulmate in the form of a paddle, it’s worth trying out a smaller diameter handle before you purchase your next paddle.
Thermoforming
The traditional cold-gluing of several layers together in a sandwich simply can‘t match the precision and uniformity that can be created through the thermoforming process. Thermoforming is a heat-based molding process in which the materials are heated to be malleable under pressure so they can be bonded into precise shapes. In the case of a pickleball paddle, thermoforming creates highly uniform flatness of the top and bottom face sheets. The result is a more predictable surface so that players can have greater precision and control when hitting the ball.
Every paddle cold-glued together requires a surrounding edge guard for integrity of the head. On the other hand, thermoformed paddles have their layers fused together for strength and their exteriors are entirely wrapped in layers of fibres. Some thermoformed paddles have an edge guard added for even greater durability, but others- called “edgeless”- do not. The advantage of an edgeless design is a larger, predictably flat surface with which to hit the ball. This particular Warping Point paddle has found a compromise between having edge guards and being edgeless. It’s a very, very, thin, ultra-flat edge guard, if it can even be called an edge guard at all.
I placed this Warping Point paddle next to several traditional paddles which did have edge guards to see the difference. My increased familiarity with edgeless and near-edgeless designs really heighted my awareness of the degree to which edge guards protrude and what an uneven surface they create. Compared side-by-side, it looked like the edge guards been placed on the other paddles as a practical joke just to screw up a player‘s game.
The improvement of the real estate along the left and right sides of the paddle can be traded off for a more elongated face, which some players prefer. Although a beginner will appreciate a wider body so they are more likely to hit the ball at all, the greater proficiency of more advanced players enables them to substitute width for length. The advantage is having the reach to save those shots that would otherwise be just a bit too far away.
A problem for traditionally-made paddles is that all other things being equal, a narrower face will have a smaller sweet spot. However, thermoforming offers a means to increase the size of the sweet spot on even a narrow face.
Thermoformed paddles use expanded foam in the handle of the paddle and in the middle honeycomb layer. Some paddles have expanded foam equally placed throughout that honeycomb layer, but this Warping Point paddle does not. This paddle has expended foam only in the handle and the outer perimeter of the face. One of the consequences of this feature is to enlarge the size of the sweet spot. Another is that a trampoline has essentially been created so the ball will have greater bounce/ more power.
For these reasons as well as others, a thermoformed paddle offers greater control, more power, and better performance overall than a traditionally-made paddle.

The Rewind paddle feels light in the hand but sturdy enough to hold up during long games. The grip is tacky and comfortable, and I really appreciate that it comes with an extra reel of grip tape so you don‘t need to buy a replacement right away. The paddle surface has a fine texture that gives good ball control and spin, and the balance feels just right - not too head-heavy or flimsy.
The included cover is one of the nicest I’ve seen and adds value to the overall package. While the price is on the higher side, the build quality and extras (cover + spare grip) make it a paddle you can stick with for a long time.
This appears to be a top-quality pickleball racquet from the WARPING POINT brand, that I would think can only improve anyone's game!
I confess that I'm not a pickleball player, but I ordered this for my daughter who is an avid one. She has been using it lately, and says that it performs very well, with a firm grip and a very solid feel, despite its light weight - and really liked its longer handle for more powerful two-handed returns!

First of all , the handle is super well made , great grip , stable in hand despite being thinner than others . and it is really longer than others to allow both hands backhands. The surface is 1700 carbon fibre that is made specifically to enhance spinning which it does easily after you get used to it . Came in a perfect packaging as if it were a gem . Looks so cool
The trim colour was nice and added some style to the normal boring/black trim.
The paddle was lightweight and my wife enjoyed using it.

I'm just new to pickleball and I'm blown away at the quality of this paddle. It's unlikely to make me a fantastic player overnight, but it certainly does feel good to be playing with something that isn't for beginners. If you're new to the game and just like nice stuff or you're a veteran and looking for some high quality textured paddles, then this is definitely something you could look at.
