Matt Wright is a professional pickleball player who has been at the top of the professional game since its inception. He has been ranked as high as #1 on the PPA Tour in both men’s and mixed doubles, and continues to compete at the highest level of the sport. Matt played college tennis at the university of Michigan, where he played #1 for the team all four years and was a multi-year All-Big Ten athletic and academic selection.

When he’s not playing pickleball, Matt has a full-time job as a corporate attorney in Wichita, Kansas. Matt’s mixed doubles partner, Lucy Kovalova, also resides in Wichita, which allows them to practice together and keep their game evolving with the rapidly-developing sport. Matt enjoys college and professional sports, concerts, road trips, and reading.
