Over the past year, Tina Pisnik has been an important part of the Warping Point journey.
What began as an athlete partnership became something much more meaningful — a shared chapter built around competition, product development, trust, and a belief in continuing to push forward.
As this chapter comes to a close, we want to look back on what we built together and simply say: thank you, Tina.
A Year That Helped Shape Warping Point
In March 2025, Warping Point and Tina Pisnik began a partnership that would become an important part of our early growth.
As our first officially signed athlete, Tina helped introduce Warping Point to the professional pickleball stage. From the early days of our global expansion to competing on the PPA Tour, she represented the brand with professionalism, competitive intensity, and trust in what we were building.
Her presence on court helped bring Warping Point to a wider audience, but her impact extended far beyond tournament results.
Tina’s Impact On and Off the Court
Tina’s story has always been about more than competition.
Before pickleball, she represented Slovenia as a professional tennis player and competed as a two-time Olympian. Her career also included challenges that could have ended her journey in professional sport.
But she kept moving forward.
The words “Still I Rise” became part of that story — a reflection of resilience, determination, and the ability to keep building after setbacks.
Those same qualities came through in the way Tina approached pickleball: with intensity, curiosity, and a constant desire to improve.
During our partnership, she brought that mindset to the PPA Tour, earning strong results and helping establish Warping Point on the professional stage.
The Story Behind Tina and the Phoenix Paddle
One of the most meaningful outcomes of our partnership was the development of the Warping Point Phoenix.
Phoenix was not created simply as a paddle for Tina to use. It was shaped through ongoing feedback, testing, and collaboration.
Tina brought the perspective of a professional athlete into the development process — evaluating speed, spin, feel, responsiveness, and how the paddle performed under real competitive pressure.
From product development and testing to countless shots on court, her feedback helped us refine what Phoenix could become.
The result was a paddle that reflected both Tina’s aggressive competitive style and Warping Point’s approach to performance-driven product development.
Phoenix would go on to become one of Warping Point’s flagship paddle lines, competing on the professional tour and becoming an important part of our product story.
For us, Phoenix will always represent more than a paddle. It represents a period when athlete feedback, engineering, and shared ambition came together to create something meaningful.
More Than an Athlete — A True Brand Partner
Tina did not simply compete with Warping Point equipment.
She helped us understand what a true athlete partnership could look like.
She contributed feedback during product development. She spent time testing equipment on court. She helped explain technical details through training and product content. She interacted thoughtfully with players and fans who reached out to her.
Those moments mattered.
They showed us that a meaningful partnership is not defined only by podium finishes, rankings, or tournament exposure. It is also built through the work that happens away from competition — the conversations, testing, feedback, and shared commitment to making something better.
We are proud of what we built together.
The Phoenix paddle was tested at the highest levels of competition, Warping Point reached new players around the world, and Tina became part of a formative chapter in our brand’s story.

Today, our formal partnership with Tina is coming to an end.
But the end of a partnership does not erase what came before it.
We remain grateful for the trust Tina placed in Warping Point at an early stage of our journey, for the work she contributed to Phoenix, and for the energy she brought to the brand both on and off the court.
As we move forward on different paths, the respect remains.
